I finished the last stitch on Willa's gown and off she went!
To join her Faerie Sisters
Her silver-blue metallic gown sparkled against the velvet lined halls
of the Irish Castle

She listened to hear singing

She joined Roweena in a Holiday tune
and they skipped down the hall

Willa is now in my Etsy shop

at Twigs Faerie Land

One of the most wonderful things about livin in the country is,
quilting and sewing clubs.
I belong to a great little club, that meets Thursday evenings at the neighborhood
Club House
When I first joined the group, I learned to quilt. I have received so much inspiration from this group of local women.
Now, I mostly work on my dolls
But Quilters have the best stash of fabrics, and these girls often bring little snips of fabric to group for me.
This week I received this pretty piece of silky lace, and quickly whipped up Pantaloons for my Faeries of the Court
I had to take a few pics, they made me laugh so much
soon they will be all gowned and corseted up
and their lovely Pantaloons will be a hidden secret!

Inside the Irish Castle, the corridors are lined in lace and velvet
This is where the Faeries play with all the pets
This is Queen Rose Dragon's favorite fairy, she gets to ride on her back

All the unwanted and orphaned animals are brought to the Castle

They all get the royal treatment, jeweled soft pink fluffy beds

The Celtic faeries play and feed, and brush all the pets

Dragon Princess, gently puts a tiny poodle in her own bed

Singing can be heard in the halls of the great Castle

Dragon Princess gives the tiny faerie a big kiss "slurp"

This is my story of the Irish Castle

all the dolls in this story are now in my shop

The monster parade has started over at
I swapped the evil Nanny, inspired by "Alice in Wonderland"

Evil and Scary is hard for me, to translate into a doll

But she is different, from all the sweet faeries in my world
Take a look at all the wonderful monsters over at the Monster Parade

The sun was starting to set,
when I looked up and saw the Dragons
Queen Rose and her Princess,
spent their days looking for unwanted and orphans pets

They carefully pick up Kitties, Dogs, Bunnies, in their large floppy claws
and bring them back to Castle to live and be cared for, by the
Celtic faeries

I patted them and scratched their horns, I had a pocket of treats,
which I shared

Magical Dragons with the warmest hearts

Up they flew to the turrets of the Irish Castle
