THE WIND SYLPHS

Wind Sylphs
ran at my heels,
chilling the warm Florida
air

Winter has arrived in the South
swirling leaves
Pumpkin patches
with elves and fairies

the only time of year you will see the
Wind Sylph

riding golden leaves
as they glide to the earth

A wonderful Winter Season
is here!

from high up near the ceiling
she waits

and watches

for her Master to appear

suddenly a fire in the hearth

it flickers and her tiny coffin
sparkles
with spiders

she leaps up
as he enters the room

dark little beauty
sits by the hearth
always waiting for her
Master to call

COUNTRY STYLE

Today I played with dollie clothes
took this old farm crate and made a wardrobe
used up all the fat wire making hangers
Blythe dolls
are a great distraction when in between
doll projects
Dollie Art Wear is really fun!

SEA FOAM

Sing, Siren, For Thyself, and I will Dote;
Spread o'er the Silver Waves Thy Golden Hairs,
And as a Bed I'll take Them, and There Lie.

WEEKEND DEPARTURE FROM DOLLIE LAND

A long rainy weekend
gave me the freedom to leave the Marine Dispatch Phones
and head over to one of my favorite places
Historic State Theatre

an opportunity to sew some costumes for a upcoming performance

a wonderful and mysterious place
where imagination can run wild

The Costume Floor
It has been awhile so I decided to wander

peeking into rooms
packed with all kinds of props

costumes
waiting to be brought to life

dark and creepy cavernous rooms

rooms stuffed to the brim

and back to my machine where I will sew up some
glitter
