JUST NOT READY TO GIVE UP

Since my experiments with mold making

seems all I can think about!

March truly came in like a Lion

armed with the experience of my 1st try,

determined to do it again

started another doll, working on her core

she will be sculpted out with paper stone clay

THIS IS NOT FUN!

Today was plaster day

up to this point in my dollmaking life

making dolls has always been a pleasurable experience

But this, is the most horrible art mess I have ever done, making plaster casting molds is right up there with the horrible resin experiments, I did last year!

Maybe it takes some getting use to

or perhaps making these molds a few more times

would help

Whatever, I do plan on trying to cast a doll

and then make a decision

In the meantime while these are drying, I think I will make some dollies out of clay

Lots of rain the last few days

haven't been able to pour plaster in my molds

So I moved furniture around

again.

Decided to bring my childhood house into my studio

can't work on her if she is hiding in a dark corner in

another room

another table!

floors await sanding

walls need to be painted

and the outside needs sprucing

Lots of little Attic ghosts need to be created

an empty chair

Tangkou dolls await
