started my new doll molds for this year
planning on 3 new dolls
setting up my little Deer head
I had concerns about the horns and ears
having never done ears
my sculpts are paper clay sealed with enamel
but they still are fragile
for me this method works the best
my dolls are small
and making walls out of the plastine clay works great
first side cleaned up and parting solution painted on in
three coats then set aside overnight to dry
walls up, second pour fingers crossed
TaDa wiped clean my little Deer head turned out perfect
6 years and over 20 molds sets
starting to feel confident in this difficult art form
rubber bands and set to dry for a couple weeks
excited to test them out
