SO SWEET BUT ISSUES
lots of stringing issues
the parts all fit, I didn't make the holes large enough
still unsure about handling porcelain
next doll will be better
learned from all my mistakes

JORDAN A DECO DOLLIE
Jordan is dressed in a couture frock of sequins and organdy ribbons
she is 12 inches tall sculpted in
japanese paper clay
Jordan is in my shop
CHINA PAINTS
another morning of opening the kiln
the China painting was really fun
sort of like applying makeup
I love the effect soft and China doll-like
today painting with French Porcelain paints
that cure in a oven
they are bright and shiny

THE FEELING OF CHRISTMAS MORNING
opened the kiln this morning
two perfect little 10 inch porcelain dolls
well, maybe not perfect but to me they are
a dream come true

SUCCESS TA DA
This morning I loaded my Firefly with
two dolls
firing to porcelain
it has been a long artistic road to get to this point
two little faeries
ball jointed dolls
from my ooak sculpt
and molds
tomorrow morning will be like Christmas
when I open my kiln
