Perfect Sunny Sunday

in the outdoor Studio

working on the tiniest

ball jointed fairy doll

The Fairy Doll House is waiting for

inhabitants of the winged variety

almost time to start casting plaster molds

all the proto pieces for the MouseFeather dolls

are ready!

Weather is perfect

and one tiny stone clay body to cast

waiting to dry

MERMAIDS OF SANIBEL ISLAND

On the South Western Coast of Florida

the beautiful Island of

Sanibel

After a long road trip

it felt good to stretch my legs

a walk down the dock

and a look at the busy

harbor

no Mermaids to be seen

On the other side

I found a green bridge

that lead to a magical stream

it creaked as I walked

the water was usual colors of green and yellow

But then I saw them

swimming among the lacy roots

beautiful Mermaids

of greens and lavenders

chasing the spot-light of sunshine

off they swam up the stream

until I could see them

no longer

in the glow of the sunset

a dream of magical

WIP THE FAIRY HOUSE

Just returned from Sanibel Island

where I was searching for

Island Mermaids

actually I was at a Marine

Convention

for the day job

brought back a bad case of the Flu

Thank goodness for my fairy doll house

trying something new

working from the inside out

writing a story as I go

searching for trinkets and tiny treasures

takes my mind off the sniffles

off to look for woodland foliage to bring the

forest inside my little house!

STUDIO REDO AGAIN

Moving furniture around again

but in order to work on my new doll house

she must be in my

Studio

always need another table

It is very important

that all my favorite dollies are within

hands reach

COUNTRY FARMERS MARKET

Living in the country

lots of Farmer Markets

I usually never get to go

because of work

but Thursday I slipped out

and wandered amongst the vegetables

and little tables set up in the morning sun

I spied this little beauty sitting in the grass

please take me home and play with me

so I did

smaller than my other doll house I was able to carry her out

I took a little tour through my new home

my imagination is bursting!
