About a year ago I started collecting Blythe Dolls

they are so cute

but mostly to create Artwear for them

although I have sewn Couture for many years

doll clothing is a whole other world

with my new venture into sculpture of ball jointed dolls

I wanted the clothing to be removable

by practicing on Blythe, my doll clothing

wardrobe has grown

WIP MERMAID

Up early these days

Summer is coming

the heat is here to stay

all I can think about is 

Mermaids

I miss the Ocean

and the Tranquility of Sailing

but then I see my

wonderful sprawling studio

in the morning light

Country living is great

too, and not as wet!

Warm temperatures in Florida

and the butterflies take flight

and the glowing Fairy Flys

With my Fairy Fly finished, took the day off

 to lunch and visit artists friends in 

Mt. Dora FL
