From a Summer class at Kimberly Miller studios, learning about glazing. Really happy with the way this piece turned out. All ready for some French faeries to have a tea party.

THE VAMPIRE PET

My last ceramic doll with velvet cushioned ceramic stool, chained so she can't escape.  Finished my original series of puppets all with chairs in ceramic and twigs. Now I'm off to celebrate with a dreamy mini vaca swimming with mermaids and ID&T doll convention this weekend, so fun

GLAZING

Glazing all my secondary pieces today. Little seats for my puppets, they will go into the kiln on Monday morning

Got this mermaid strung now she needs big red hairs

It is like Christmas every time I open the kiln.  The cool blue looks like Bahama water.
