a tiny Blythe doll

cutest little thing I've ever seen

reminds me of the Little Kiddles, tiny Mattel dolls

I owned many as a child

I think I'll be collecting a few of these

Summer time Mermaids

found my stash of goodies from the Bahamas

shells and hand-dyed batiks

and wonderful memories of sailing the

Bahamas

SWIMMING WITH MERMAIDS

It is Hot

it is August

and I hear them calling

Beach Babies

frolicking in the surf

might be time to head East

and stick my toes in the sand and warm blue water

Spend a day watching the kite-surfers

building sand castles

Summer will soon be over

and the Mermaids songs will fade

DEVON NUMBER NINE

Devon

is finally finished

she is my ninth

ball jointed doll

For awhile I thought she would never have a beautiful gown

until I visited the Mill House in Juniper Springs

this 1930's magical house

inspired a Faerie Creation

a gown that begged to be worn by a red-headed Faerie

lounging in my studio

Devon will reside as part of my private

collection

A REALLY COOL DRESS

With the lightening flashing in the

Studio windows last night

finally got a dress

I saw my second water spout on the lake

another wild Friday night

calm sunny morning

waiting for wings

The quintessential Faerie

although I have been creating these dolls for years

and they have changed a little over time
