THE LAST FRENCH FAERIE

This is Noel, she is the last faerie to be fitted for her French Gown

Everyone has arrived, the Butterfly Ladies, the Fop Kittys, Champagne Mermaids and the Chickadee Birds.
All but the Queen French Faerie herself, who is not going to make an appearance until the day of the Party. Queen Juliette must always make an Grand Entrance!

Today I dusted off my Peter Pan Hat and Wednesday April 15th, I started collecting names from all the wonderful comments.

The French Faerie Party is April 26th in the afternoon, and all the handmade cakes and goodies will be given away, April 27th to 2 winners!

Stop by anytime and sign up for the fabulous treats, and have a glass of pink champagne and dance around with a faerie!

The shop update will be Wednesday April 22nd, and the French Faerie Collection of dolls will debut on Etsy next weekend.

THE MERMAID TEA PARTY

The amazing sea side tea party is happening right now!
Lisa at faerieenchantment.blogspot.com is hosting this event, what a wonderful day for it, the sun is shining and the waves are rolling in over the crystal white sand.
I'm sending two little mermaids and they brought their treasure chest filled with shells from Florida. They will sit on the beach front and sing a mermaid song for all their new finned friends
I AM THE STAR THAT RISES FROM THE SEA, THE TWILIGHT SEA.
I BRING MEN DREAMS THAT RULE THEIR DESTINY,
I BRING THE DREAM-TIDES TO THE SOULS OF MEN;
THE TIDES THAT EBB AND FLOW AND EBB AGAIN
THESE ARE MY SECRETS, THESE BELONG TO ME.
I AM THE STAR THAT RISES FROM THE SEA

PINK CHAMPAGNE MERMAIDS

Today the mermaids swam over, brisk winds and rain made easy arrival for the finned ones

It may be a French Party, but in Florida it is not a party until the Mermaids join the group

I offered the mer-girls sparkled corsets, and frothy hair dos

They lounged and posed, sniffing lovely lilies

I have to start making cakes and goodies
Just a few more guests to arrive, and then it is party time!

HAPPY EASTER

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN CENTRAL FLORIDA

Warm and sunny with a cool spring breeze, and on that soothing breeze in floated the Butterfly Ladies. Exotic beauties, they loved their gowns and antique lace corsets
And they wanted the highest wigs, in green and adorned with everything, these ladies like to be over-done, they really just want to out-shine the French Faeries

And the Chickadee Birds had to have another posing opportunity

And the guests keep arriving for the French Faerie Party

ANNETTE & CHICKADEE BIRDS

Today French Faerie Annette popped in to get her gown fitted

Pink and Gold Brocade, antique lace
Annette also brought her two pet birds, who wanted to join the party
So I gave them capes of feathers, and wigs and a little crown
Annette was very shy in the Salon, but she is so pretty!

THAT IS MY DRESS!

Today Fi Fi, one of the many faerie guest's flitted in to try on her gown.

I'm hosting a grand French Faerie Party April 26th.

Fi Fi twirled and giggled as I fixed the hem, and found the perfect plume for her hair.

I think she is happy with her gold brocade gown, and lime organza petticoats.

I heard whispers in the wind, that the Butterfly Ladies were on their way.

I must get my needle going, so their beautiful gowns and corsets will be ready.

FAERIE TRAVELS

For the last few years, I have had several groups of faeries pass through my country yard.
The faeries feel safe here, I have two small cottages beneath the great oak tree. My home is located out in the farm land, away from the cities, traffic, and bright lights. Faeries pass through on their way to great adventures. I always leave cookies, and cakes, and make little feathered beds in the cottages.
This year I decided to plan a French Party, with cakes and goodies, and bubbly champagne. Faeries love to dress up and parade around, this was a good opportunity to make grand gowns and party outfits for my guests.

The first to arrive were the beautiful white kitties, so elegant, I made velvet frock coats, lots of lace and feathers
They posed and primped for me, they look magnificent, gorgeous Fop Kittys

I can't wait to see who shows up next!

The French Faerie Party is almost Here!

RAINY SUNDAY

Sunday morning reading the paper, drinking a cup of tea. When I hear a commotion of squeals and giggles coming from somewhere.
I wander about the house listening, peeking around the corner into the bedroom, I see Faerie Kids, playing hide and seek in the corner.
Fluttering and playing around a table full of garden treasures. Faerie Kids like to be indoors when it rains, they don't like wet paper wings.
I watched for awhile, I looked out and saw the sun coming out brightening up the room.
I opened the window and a cool breeze blew in attracting the Kids attention, they flew quickly out into the Spring sun.
Spring time is almost here, I can tell, because all the Faeries are everywhere.
