Petal Faeries
are very important to
Faerie Rings
and these two Princess Faeries
found the spot
where the Midnight Dance would take place
in order for the ring to appear
Petal Faeries sprinkle magical seeds
to grow the tiny mushrooms that will make the ring
The Petal Faeries alway choose the perfect spot
in a clearing
in the forest
beneath a roof of oak and mossy lace
I marveled at this beautiful place
and wished I could be a fairy
for one special night
to dance until dawn
