THE FRENCH FAERIE PARTY & LET THEM EAT CAKE GIVE-AWAY

I awoke early to a commotion in the back yard, a flurry of feathers whirled around the tiny cottages under the great oak tree. Perfume and sparkly powder wisps escaped out the tiny windows.

The table was set the champagne was chilled and the cakes and treats had been laid out. I quickly hurried to get dressed, the Queen of the French Faeries would be arriving any moment now. The trumpet sounded from the Court Rabbit and Queen Juliette appeared.

And the Queen proclaimed "LET THEM EAT CAKE" and the party started, a promenade

of Faeries, Butterfly Ladies, Fop Kitties, and Chickadee birds

I greeted my guests to the French Salon on the terrace, the Mermaids arrived with the frosty
silver buckets of Pink Champagne

Oh, the whispering, twirling, and dancing!

The French Faeries looked so grand and beautiful!

The Fop Kitties were so adorable, as they took each Faerie for a lovely spin around the Salon

As the afternoon went on, the cakes and treats disappeared, and the Pink Champagne was just about gone, the French Faeries blew kisses and departed to the tiny cottages and their feather beds under the old oak tree in the yard. I knew in the first morning light the Faeries would be gone, off on adventures, and I would see them again soon.

So, Queen Juilette and I retired to the yard with some Pink Champagne to watch the sun slip past the trees into brilliant shades of orange and pink. She whispered faerie secrets, and giggled happily, over the wonderful party!

So, Kaerie Faerie, "what are you going to come up with next year?" I took a deep breath and just

smiled!

THE LAST FRENCH FAERIE

This is Noel, she is the last faerie to be fitted for her French Gown

Everyone has arrived, the Butterfly Ladies, the Fop Kittys, Champagne Mermaids and the Chickadee Birds.

All but the Queen French Faerie herself, who is not going to make an appearance until the day of the Party. Queen Juliette must always make an Grand Entrance!

Today I dusted off my Peter Pan Hat and Wednesday April 15th, I started collecting names from all the wonderful comments.

The French Faerie Party is April 26th in the afternoon, and all the handmade cakes and goodies will be given away, April 27th to 2 winners!

The amazing sea side tea party is happening right now!

Lisa at faerieenchantment.blogspot.com is hosting this event, what a wonderful day for it, the sun is shining and the waves are rolling in over the crystal white sand.

I'm sending two little mermaids and they brought their treasure chest filled with shells from Florida. They will sit on the beach front and sing a mermaid song for all their new finned friends

The Guests have been arriving and getting all dressed up, I'm still expecting a few more Faeries to show up.

The Cakes and Goodies have been ordered, and lots of bubbly Pink Champagne

There will be dancing and posing, lots of giggling!

"How could any wonderful party be complete, with out a sweet give-away"

PINK CHAMPAGNE MERMAIDS

Today the mermaids swam over, brisk winds and rain made easy arrival for the finned ones

It may be a French Party, but in Florida it is not a party until the Mermaids join the group

I offered the mer-girls sparkled corsets, and frothy hair dos

They lounged and posed, sniffing lovely lilies

I have to start making cakes and goodies

Just a few more guests to arrive, and then it is party time!

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN CENTRAL FLORIDA

Warm and sunny with a cool spring breeze, and on that soothing breeze in floated the Butterfly Ladies. Exotic beauties, they loved their gowns and antique lace corsets

And they wanted the highest wigs, in green and adorned with everything, these ladies like to be over-done, they really just want to out-shine the French Faeries

And the Chickadee Birds had to have another posing opportunity

And the guests keep arriving for the French Faerie Party
